If you didn’t catch that, let me repeat it.

Diego Sanchez will be fighting Clay Guida at the TUF finale on June, 20.

Why isn’t anyone talking about this fight? These two guys are the most aggressive fighters in the lightweight division, if the not the entire sport – and they’re going to be locked in a cage together!

Not to mention that they’re both hungry, in need of primetime wins, super talented, on the ground as well as the feet, and evenly matched.

I give the slight edge to Sanchez, who I believe will be a champion one day (don’t forget that he literally ran over Kenny Florian, currently the #1 ranked lightweight contender, back in 2005, at the TUF 1 finale) but Guida surprised me in his last fight with Jiu-Jitsu phenom Nate Diaz, so I’m not making any predictions.

I will say this, though: Sanchez vs. Guida has fight of the year potential.
